No app download is required — ever. Members simply open their phone's native camera, point it at the QR code, and tap the link that appears. It works on any modern iPhone or Android device without installing anything.
You can display the QR code on any screen — a laptop, projector, TV, or tablet works perfectly. You can also print it and stick it on a door, table, or noticeboard. Each session generates a unique QR code that you can access from your admin dashboard.
PresenceIQ uses time-limited QR codes that expire after the session ends, and optionally a location-lock feature that only accepts check-ins within a set radius. This means the code only works for the duration and location of your session, preventing remote or fraudulent check-ins.
Admins can manually mark attendance in the dashboard in seconds for members who don't have a smartphone. The manual entry is time-stamped and included in all reports exactly like a QR check-in, so your records stay complete.
Yes. PresenceIQ is built for UK organisations with GDPR compliance as a core principle. Your data is hosted on UK servers, encrypted at rest and in transit, and never sold or shared with third parties. You remain the data controller at all times, and members can request their data deleted.
Absolutely. You can create as many programmes as you need — for example, Sunday Service, Youth Group, and Bible Study can all exist under one church account, each with its own member list, sessions, and reports. Starter plan and above support multiple programmes.
